Ahhh - now I WOULD have told them I was proud of them - maybe afterwards though. Several youth I have dealt with are using their free time helping the underprivilaged in other towns. Camping overnight and sharing Christian principles and it never fails to impress how some of our young DO care and are prepared to give of their time. Well done your group! I thought of them this morning whilst singing our opening hymn.
ReplyDelete" Some march with events,
to turn them God's way;
some need to withdraw,
the better to pray;
some carry the gospel
through fire and through flood:
our world is their parish:
their purpose is God."
Lovely words. This is the 2nd verse but we all sang with usual gusto the four verses.
Back again this evening - hope the footie has finished by 5pm! Exciting what....
with gritted teeth I say well done at the cricket. ;)
