Another great day yesterday with more good news, we have been informed our application to have our bathroom completely revamped, has been granted and will take place as soon as as the contractor can do it which we believe will be weeks rather than months, so we shall have to vacate the bungalow for the revamp period which takes around 7__8 days to accomplish, so we are going to arrange a holiday to cover that period when we get the exact date from the builder, the revamp, we have seen one of our neighbours who have had theres done and its marvellous, they rip out everything and replace with new flooring , ceiling, fully tiled walls, and high seated toilet, and a new suite all round no bath but a high power shower unit, we are very excited by it all. both the thought of a holiday and the new Wet room, as it will help Eileen particuarly with her needs and will be a blessing to her, I to shall be very pleased, I shall occasionally miss the bath as I love to lay and soak ,but the new will be so much better all round. we are extremely thankfull, and over the moon!! cleaned out our hall cupboard yesterday, sorted everything and discarded what is no longer of use redecorated it and reffiited it with everything in new transparent plastic box's it looks great and I am very pleased with it and Eileen to, a job well done""
Off to my Church today to do a spot of odd jobbing, well I am an odd bod really. windows will be my main aim today outside, weather permitting inside if not . then a visit to my sister at moulton
then this afternoon , a new project we are going to try and bake our own bread, we have tried in the past with mixed results, but this time will be better as we now have more time at hand, Irish Soda bread, will be our first attempt, I have all the required ingredients and the recipe, and above all "The desire " so will let you know how we got on Later Bye for now.

Wow! That is jolly exciting! How lovely! It is nice to look forward to a holiday and coming back to 'the new look' all ready to try out.
ReplyDeleteYou haven't let the grass grow under your feet,so to speak, have you? All that clearing out and restorage - and planning to make bread too - plus your odd job-ing and visiting. Makes me feel exhausted thinking about it! lol. Just 40 children for a couple of hours this afternoon, plenty!!
a holiday and a revamp... perfect.
