It seems that My "Iffy" compie is now behaving itself, so can for the time being at least continue
life once again, had a disapointing T/top at Holy Troinity on the Sat, not many people seemed to want to come out on what was the hottest day thus far, very humid conditions, but we press on looking at new ideas and venues, the weather after the W/ends heat as now decidedly cooled, with a little,(and i do mean just that) rain yesterday, not enough to lay the dust really in kingsthorpe at least but some coming we are told?? by our impeccable weather men, so we are waiting in hope,
thankfully the football has GONE, it was getting even for me a bit to much every night. and it wasn't a very exciting (football wise) event for me any way, i was pleased for the African peoples I thought in every respect they were the stars of it all well done Africa, i suppose if we had gone further in the competition it would have been a little more involveing? but we now have to make many changes, and i am not sure they will, but will be interesting to watch this space,??,
As a fellowship we are now mightily watching Africa, as a team of eleven from our midst are visiting the "compassion"village in Uganda,to see at first hand the children they and we are sponsoring to help them achieve better education and we trust better lives as well, so we are praying, thinking of them all for the next ten days of their visitation, we support individually 48 children through our fellowship, and growing, very exciting days, praise be to God,
Quick message to our littlr sis in OZ a package on its way with your favourite sweeties, enjoy them love to all PtP

So pleased the compie is functioning.
ReplyDeleteNo, the footie was very poor overall and far from thrilling. The goal that was not seen by the ref; lowered morale I think - or certainly did nothing to boost it! Oh well...........
Shame about your T Top sale but with a fresh attempt another time, it may be a different story.
We too have links with Africa and have managed a couple of wells - amazing how very little they have. I try to think of that when we turn on our taps!
From just a drop of rain, our grass has a definate green look about it now but it will take more than a dribble to restore it... Think Africa. xxx
oh dear you are too kind, more temptations ..... more diets to come. sounds interesting will watch for Postie.
