Sunday May 2nd2010
A rather wet night and a wet day in prospect today, but it is needed and welcome for the gardens, thankfully I managed to get the plants in that I wished so it will refresh and help them to establish themselves, after a strange mix up at the auction yesterday, I missed out on my shelving. I had earmarked to use in our new wet room, (not my fault), but there you go easy come easy go they say, but I did get a few nice things for our craft stall, and also a fresh idea came to me as to how I can help "the Church Building fund" in the future and indulge and enjoy my new found pleasure,
Seeking treasures in the auctions and turning them through boot sales into cash for the same, I believe a little "Outside help" formed this in my mind so I shall endevour to do just that, and see how things work out, I can use my "tythe" to purchase then Trust to multilpy it while enjoying the whole new for me, experience, thoughts here, for those who will undsrstand of "the story" of the talents!!!???. God bless, keep on keeping on. PtP.

  1. Glad you have found these pleasures PtP. I started cutting a man's hair 20 yrs ago through ' a sale of talents' to raise moneies for a new building. I am still cutting his hair on the understanding that he makes a donation to charity each year. Money is never mentioned and it has never, ever, caused me to wonder - I take his word as pledged, all those years ago. Some of our members tythe their gifts in their work life skills and we have groups insured to do the high ladder work etc. It is a wonderful way to contribute to a 'family' way of life. Thousands were raised over Lent by people donating soup, bread etc. Great social benefits too.
Your chosen way is fantstic too - giving pleasure to the purchaser and you too. A true giving of talents.....
